Raised in the South, Paul fell in love with the west while traveling through Arizona and New Mexico collecting Mexican and South American artifacts and artwork. He now lives in Reno, Nevada where he volunteers for the Reno Rodeo and is establishing himself as a emerging western artist. He focuses on oil paintings and illustrations of the landscape and people that created the mystique of the West. Through his art, Paul strives to honor the tradition and history of the West, balancing the romanticism and realities of the 19th and early 20th centuries.
